Have this in mind when working with Vector Designs
...the lighting and shades can come later.
Just have the major features marked out first and the details will come after,
When it comes to detailing and shading, I usually work with the shades first, and then the lighter areas of the design.
In the image below you can see that I left the shades and light for later.
The outline mode shows the lines used in the design.
Wow! Those are a lot of lines. The more detail you want your vector design to have the more lines you would have to use.
The shapes where blurred to give the face a smooth look.
